Gered Mankowitz photographed The Rolling Stones for the first time in 1965, when he shot the album cover for ‘Out of Our Heads’. Mankowitz subsequently toured America with the Stones, and photographed the band on and off stage for almost five years. In 1966 he photographed each member of the band ‘at home’, providing fans across the world with an intimate look into the lives of Britain’s cherished rock stars. This portrait of Mick with his beloved Aston Martin DB4 was taken outside his flat in a mews near Baker Street in Central London. This print is book mounted and sits in a beautiful black-stained Ash frame. Total framed dimensions are 58 x 67 x 3.4 cm. Please allow 3-6 weeks for framing and shipping.
