This work is by German photographer Andreas Gefeller and is part of his Supervision (2002-2015) series. Academy is one of Gefeller’s most famous works from the series. In Supervisions urban spaces and interiors are shown from an elevated position. These spaces are real and constructed at the same time by being assembled from thousands of individual images. Academy shows the art academy in Düsseldorf. We see it from a new, unusual perspective and with great detail. Gefeller collaged around 6,000 individual digital images to create this work. These recordings were not made all at once, but over a long period of time. In this way, the events of the Art Academy are depicted over a long period of time instead of just a single moment. This print can be offered framed, please get in touch for more information: info@atlasgallery.com. Please allow 1-2 weeks for shipping.
